Content & Engagement Manager

We are seeking a Content & Engagement Manager to join our team based from our Head Office in London Bridge (hybrid working). 

In this role you will lead how we listen to and engage our colleagues, bringing Southeastern’s culture to life through powerful storytelling and meaningful insight. You will own our Employee Voice approach, combining high-quality digital content with robust engagement data to ensure colleagues feel heard, informed and valued. You will translate feedback into action, shaping clear communication and engagement plans that connect strategy to everyday experience.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the Employee Voice strategy, producing engaging digital content that showcases diverse career journeys, social mobility stories and life across Southeastern
  • Own the end-to-end engagement survey process, including question design, launch planning and driving high participation
  • Analyse survey data to identify trends, heat maps and priority themes across functions
  • Translate complex insight into clear, visual reports for the People Team and Directors
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to facilitate focus groups and develop “You Said, We Did” action plans
  • Translate business strategy into short, meaningful campaigns across multiple media channels
  • Create engaging content and briefing materials for senior leaders to support team engagement
  • Review and challenge People & Culture workstreams to ensure messaging remains clear, current and aligned, including induction and training materials

The experience you’ll need

To be considered for this role we recommend you demonstrate the below in your application;

  • 2–4 years’ experience in Internal Communications, Employee Engagement or a brand-led HR role
  • Strong digital storytelling capability across video, blogs, podcasts and social platforms
  • Confident video editing skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush) and excellent copywriting with a human tone of voice
  • Comfortable working with Excel and data visualisation tools to interpret engagement data
  • Experience managing the lifecycle of an annual engagement survey alongside ongoing campaigns
  • Skilled facilitator, able to navigate difficult conversations and uncover root causes of engagement challenges
  •  Experience delivering internal campaigns and/or events
  • Familiar with employee engagement software and Content Management Systems
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Psychology or HR desirable, but strong portfolio equally valued
