Engineering Apprentice

Job Introduction

Our three year Engineering Apprenticeship programme is the perfect foundation block for anyone looking to start a career in Engineering.

The apprenticeship balances college learning with work placements at our Engineering depots for an excellent blended approach to learning.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship will result in a Level 3 Diploma in Rail Engineering Competence and knowledge of different types of trains, faults and Southeastern depots, as well as opportunities to progress into other Engineering roles.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking applications from those who are passionate about engineering.

No previous rail experience is required!

We would encourage you to demonstrate the below in your application;

  • 4 x GCSE's of Grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths. 
  • Good verbal communication skills. 
  • To be proactive and have the ability to problem solve. 
  • Great team working ability.
  • Should be computer literate with a basic knowledge of information technology.
