Senior Digital Learning Manager
Job Introduction
We are seeking a Senior Digital Learning Manager to join our team working across London & Kent on a 2 year fixed term contract (Hybrid Working)
You will be accountable in driving forward Southeastern’s digital strategy and will have overall responsibility for various LMS platforms, managing stakeholder relationships for current and future eLearning courses, and managing the Digital Learning Manager team to ensure projects are allocated and completed to a high standard and within defined timescales.
You will also be responsible for effectively managing the digital budget, managing course build requests, quality assurance of courses to assess effectiveness, and producing and sharing valuable reports with the business to drive compliance.
This role is key to leading on the expansion and introduction of digital products within the HR Training function and wider business, such as eAssessments, VR, PDR for frontline colleagues, and the Train Driver Academy LMS.
You will need to design and create engaging eLearning content in-house and take ownership of each project assigned, liaising with subject matter experts to define course requirements, script storyboards, and then build the courses in-house.
There will also be requirements to oversee, and project manage 3rd party supplier course builds to help rapidly expand the library of courses available to colleagues.
The Ideal Candidate

Essential
- Proven track record of managing a team
- Experience in planning and running multiple projects
- Proven ability to manage Stakeholder relationships
- Proven experience in designing and creating eLearning content and able to provide a portfolio of previous content created
- Experienced in using Articulate Storyline, Captivate and Videoscribe software
- Experienced in using the Adobe Creative Suite: Audition, Premier Pro to create engaging and rich video content
- Proven experience in scripting and creating storyboards for eLearning
- Experience of working with Subject Matter Experts to define storyboard content
- Excellent written, communication and attention to detail skills
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Brand awareness
- Proven experience of managing an LMS
- Experience of hosting webinar training sessions
- Contract and budget management experience
- Experience of storyboarding and filming creative content using DSLR cameras and lighting equipment
- Experienced in creating/leading on a strategy and embedding new processes
Desirable
- Ability to create graphics using Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience of administrating an LMS
- Experience of using a LMS authoring tool to create eLearning content
