Service Delivery Shunter Level 2

Job Introduction

To provide correctly marshalled trains at the time laid down and ensure this work is performed safely and to provide a quality and cost-efficient service.

To carry out Depot Inductions and Isolations.

Role Responsibility

  • Maintain competency in Isolations and carry out Isolations as and when required.
  • To Ensure Passenger Stock is formed correctly as shown in Carriage Working notice and supplements.
  • Responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge of Rules and Regulations that apply to work.
  • Ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with the depot operating instruction for movements and depot protection.
  • Ensure compliance to the requirement of Engineering and Railway Group Standards and any other documents relevant to the operation of the depot.
  • Ensure your personal safety and that of others at all times.
  • Ensure that Depot premises are maintained in a safe and clean condition.
