Platform/Sales - Part Time

Job Introduction

As a member of the Station Team you are the face of the company.

The role will include:

  • The sale and promotion of the full range of Southeastern products and those relating to other businesses.
  • Assisting people with their travel needs in an impartial manner by assisting with route planning and ticket costs where possible offering the most cost effective ticket to the customer.
  • Being proactive in your approach and recognising opportunities to increase sales or increase awareness of promotions.
  • Assistance in general station duties where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following in their application:

  • Excellent Customer Service skills/experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Good standard of numeracy and accuracy
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Experience of cash handling is essential
  • A pro-active ‘can do’ attitude
  • Basic IT skills
